Algoma Leads the Way with Green Ship Recycling at MRC

After the successful completion of the ex-product tanker Algosar, MRC is pleased to announce a deal has been made with Algoma Central for the safe recycling and disposal of the ex-Algosoo. MRC expects to begin decommissioning and environmental remediation work aboard the Algosoo this winter and dismantling will begin soon thereafter.
The Algosoo is known as being the last traditional styled laker (straight decker or self-unloader) built on the Great Lakes.
