MRC is the world’s first ISO 14001 certified ship recycler and continues to pride itself on being a world leader in our field. Our team specializes in waste remediation, sectional dismantling, rigging, safety equipment and testing/use and recycling, including total vessel recycling. Each member of the MRC team is trained in vessel dismantling, maintaining stability of vessels afloat, vessel mooring and security, hot work aboard marine vessels, compressed gases safety, fall arrest and prevention, confined space entry/awareness/rescue, snorkel lift and scissor lift use, heavy equipment operation, asbestos and mould remediation/encapsulation and removal, PCB removal, cfc removal, liquid waste removal (including bunker C, fuel oil, waste oil, sludge’s), heavy metals removal and handling (including mercury, lead, cadmium, arsenic, etc).
The MRC team will tackle every challenge the industry presents, including total vessel recycling, vessel re-powering projects, and stern removals while afloat or in dry-dock, waste remediation/removal, tow preparations for lakes and/or ocean tow voyages. MRC has recycled over 100 marine vessels without claim or loss.
